The Vio 1 and Vio 2 hearing aids each offer unique features to suit different preferences.

The Vio 1 is a more discreet option, available in a skin tone color for less visibility. It’s manually adjustable, with volume control accessible via a fingernail or the provided tool, and offers around 35 hours of continuous use. It does not have Bluetooth connectivity, making it ideal for users who prefer straightforward, traditional hearing aids.

The Vio 2, on the other hand, resembles modern Bluetooth earbuds with its sleek black design. This model includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to stream audio from compatible devices. Volume is controlled with a convenient touch button. Its battery life is approximately 10 hours, reduced to 4-6 hours in Bluetooth mode, which is great for those who prioritize tech integration and a more modern look.

It’s normal for certain sounds to seem much louder or sharper when you first start using hearing aids. Sounds like your own voice, crinkling paper, or clinking dishes may stand out more because your brain is re-learning how to interpret sounds at amplified levels. This adjustment period is natural, and over a few days, your brain will adapt, making these sounds feel more balanced and less jarring. To ease into it, wear your hearing aids for about 30 minutes each day, then gradually increase the time to allow for a smoother transition.

If your hearing aids aren’t turning on, the first step is to check if they’re fully charged. Many hearing aids need a solid charge to function, so if they’re low or out of power, they simply won’t activate. Ensure they’re placed correctly in the charger, and look for any indicator lights to confirm they’re charging properly. A screeching or feedback sound from your hearing aids often happens if they’re turned on before being properly positioned in your ears. To avoid this, insert your hearing aids first, then turn them on. If screeching persists, it might mean the earbud size isn’t quite right for your ears. Try switching to a different size earbud (several options should be included with your device) to achieve a snug, secure fit that minimizes feedback noise.

If your hearing aids feel uncomfortable or seem too small or large, you may need to adjust the earbud size. Most hearing aids come with multiple sizes of silicone earbuds for a more custom fit. Simply remove the current earbud and try a different size until you find one that feels comfortable and stays secure in your ear. This will help you get the best sound quality and comfort.
