EON Sphere is the first Phonak hearing aid on the new EON platform, and it is the only one that runs Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0. That feature uses the patented Hypersonic AI chip to separate speech from noise instantly, from any direction — not only from the person sitting in front of you. It is also smaller, lighter, and more power-efficient than the previous Sphere generation, with WindBlock 2.0 for outdoor listening and AutoSense OS AI 8.0, which recognizes your sound environment and adjusts on its own. It is prescribed for mild to profound hearing loss and comes in several technology levels.

Phonak rates Audéo EON Sphere for up to 38 hours on a full charge, enough for more than a full day including some streaming. Actual runtime depends on your hearing loss, how much you stream, and the features in use. You charge it in a Phonak charger at home, and portable charger options are available if you travel. Yes. Phonak's universal connectivity pairs EON Sphere with virtually any Bluetooth phone, tablet, or computer for calls, music, and media, with hands-free calling on supported phones. It also supports Auracast broadcast audio, so in places that offer it — theaters, lecture halls, gyms, museums — you can stream the audio straight into your hearing aids. TV can stream through a compatible Bluetooth connection or the Phonak TV Connector. Volume, programs, and battery level are managed in the myPhonak app or with tap control on the hearing aid.

It is a small receiver-in-canal style that sits behind the ear with a thin wire and a soft dome in the ear canal. Phonak says this generation is about 25 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter than the previous Sphere, so most people forget they are wearing it. EasyGuard domes have a sealed design that keeps earwax out of the receiver while letting sound through, which means less cleaning and more consistent sound.
