ReSound Nexia Rechargeable Custom hearing aids are made from an impression or scan of your own ears and run on a built-in lithium-ion battery, so there are no tiny batteries to change. They come as In-the-Canal (ITC) and In-the-Ear (ITE) models in four power levels and six colors, and bring ReSound Nexia's Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast connectivity to a discreet, comfortable custom fit that sits in the ear with no tubing and does not get in the way of glasses.

What are ReSound Nexia Rechargeable Custom hearing aids?
They are custom-made versions of ReSound Nexia, built from an impression or scan of your ears and powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. They come in two styles, In-the-Canal (ITC) and In-the-Ear (ITE), and are designed to give you a comfortable, discreet fit with all-day power.
How do I charge them?
They charge in a dedicated ReSound custom charger. You place the hearing aids in the charger at night and they are ready in the morning, so there are no small zinc-air batteries to buy or change.
Which hearing losses can they help?
Nexia custom styles are available in four power levels (low, medium, high and ultra power), so they can be matched to a wide range of hearing losses. Your audiologist will use your hearing test and the shape of your ear canal to recommend the right style and power level for you.
Can I stream phone calls and music?
Yes. ReSound Nexia supports Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast broadcast audio, and works with iPhone, iPad and compatible Android phones. It also works with ReSound's wireless accessories, such as the TV-Streamer+, Multi-Mic+, Phone Clip+ and Micro Mic.
Can I control them with an app?
Yes. The ReSound Smart 3D app lets you personalize your sound, use the Hear in Noise program and request remote assistance from us, so we can fine-tune your hearing aids without a visit.
What is the difference between the ITC and the ITE?
The ITC is the smaller of the two and sits more deeply in the ear for a more discreet look. The ITE fills more of the ear, which makes it easier to put in, take out and handle, and is a good choice if you have dexterity challenges. We will help you choose at your appointment.
How is a custom hearing aid made?
At your appointment we take an impression or scan of your ears. ReSound uses it to build a shell that matches your ears exactly. When it arrives, we fit and program it to your hearing test results and make sure it is comfortable.
