ReSound Savi

ReSound Savi is a ReSound hearing aid family for mild to profound hearing loss, built around clear sound, a comfortable fit and strong connectivity. It comes in small, all-weatherproof styles: a rechargeable miniRIE, two battery-powered receiver-in-ear models, and custom-made in-the-canal (ITC) and completely-in-canal (CIC) models. Savi was designed to help you follow conversations, calls and streaming even in noisy places, and it connects to both Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast broadcast audio.

Frequently Asked Questions

What styles does ReSound Savi come in?
There are five. The miniRIE is rechargeable and is the smallest receiver-in-ear style. The RIE 61 uses a size 312 battery and the RIE 62 uses a size 13 battery. For a custom fit made from an impression of your ear, there is the In-the-Canal (ITC), which uses a size 312 battery, and the Completely-in-Canal (CIC), which uses a size 10A battery. Your audiologist will help you choose the style that suits your hearing and your hands.
What level of hearing loss is it for?
ReSound Savi is designed for mild to profound hearing loss. The receiver-in-ear styles come with low, medium, high and ultra power receivers, so the sound can be matched to your hearing test. Your audiologist will recommend the right power for you.
Is it rechargeable?
The miniRIE is rechargeable and is designed to last a full day, even if you stream. It charges in a charger that uses induction, so the hearing aids simply drop into place and there are no tiny contacts to line up or keep clean. The other Savi styles use standard zinc-air batteries.
Can I stream phone calls, music and TV?
Yes. Savi supports Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast broadcast audio and works with iPhone, iPad and compatible Android phones. Hands-free calls are available on the receiver-in-ear styles, where you answer with a tap. The custom ITC and CIC styles do not offer hands-free calling, and the CIC is non-wireless, so it does not stream.
What is Auracast?
Auracast is a new kind of broadcast audio. Public places such as theaters, airports and gyms can send sound straight to your hearing aids. In the ReSound Smart 3D app, the Auracast Assistant lets you find a broadcast and connect with a tap.
Is ReSound Savi water resistant?
ReSound Savi has an IP68-rated, all-weatherproof design with a protective nanocoating on every part, so it is built to cope with everyday sweat, rain and dust. It should still not be worn swimming or in the shower.
Is ReSound Savi right for me?
Savi is a good fit if you want clear sound, a small and comfortable design and modern connectivity in one package. Book a free consultation at any of our four offices: we will test your hearing and help you compare Savi with the other ReSound models.
