ReSound Sensia

ReSound Sensia is ReSound's newest family of premium hearing aids, available in the US since August 2026 and built on GN's new AI platform. It is designed for the hardest part of hearing loss: hearing in noise. Instead of simply turning up the loudest voice in the room, Sensia combines three technologies (AcoustIQ sound sensing, a four-microphone beam that follows the direction you face, and AI noise reduction) to bring forward the voice you want to hear. The rechargeable microRIE is the world's smallest AI rechargeable receiver-in-ear hearing aid.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is ReSound Sensia different from other hearing aids?
Sensia introduces Intelligent All-Around, a trio of technologies that work together. AcoustIQ classifies your surroundings in real time and switches features on when you need them. Four synchronized microphones form a forward-facing beam, so you can focus on a speaker simply by turning your head. AI (deep neural network) denoising then lifts speech and makes background noise less distracting. Intelligent All-Around is available at the top technology level (9) in the microRIE style.
What styles does ReSound Sensia come in?
Rechargeable microRIE, receiver-in-ear models with standard 312 or 13 batteries, a full custom range (ITE, ITC and CIC), CROS and BiCROS models for single-sided deafness, and a bimodal version designed to work with Cochlear Nucleus sound processors. All styles are IP68-rated and come in a wide range of colors and technology levels.
How long does the battery last?
The rechargeable microRIE runs up to 30 hours on a charge, with about 24 hours of typical use, or about 20 hours if you stream half the time. The AI noise reduction is always available without cutting into that all-day battery life. Battery life varies with how you use the hearing aids.
Can I stream phone calls, music and TV?
Yes. Sensia supports Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast on iPhone, iPad and compatible Android devices (all styles except the custom CIC). For TV, ReSound's TV Streamer sends the sound straight to your hearing aids. TapControl on the microRIE lets you answer a call with a tap.
How do I charge it?
The microRIE comes with the Standard Charger, and a Desktop Charger or Premium Charger are also available. It is safe to leave the hearing aids in the charger overnight, and you can check the battery level in the ReSound Smart 3D app.
Which app does it use?
The ReSound Smart 3D app (App Store and Google Play). You can personalize your sound, connect to Auracast broadcasts, use Check my Fit to make sure the hearing aids are in correctly, and ask us for remote fine-tuning.
